After seeing numerous people comment on how wonderful primate^king’s remixes are, and knowing this to be true myself, I felt him worthy for some much needed and positive recognition. Primate^king, a.k.a. Brian Ball is a fellow soulseeker, one I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for around a year. Brian is 23years old, originally from Madison Wisconsin, now residing in Oakland California. He’s been very unselfish in freely putting his music out there for us to enjoy. His music remixes are very diverse, including, hip hop, pop and alternative and ambient/chill. The beats are totally fresh and surprising, for the most part. We all do a little mixing, from time to time, but primate^king has made this a priority and has excelled boundlessly in his endeavors, to the point of being a little above the norm.

The cd’s I’d like to give mention to at this time are his 2006 ones, _primate_king_-_dancing_in_the_shadows_cd5''_2006 and _primate_king_vs._dj_shadow_-_outside_the_beats,_freaks_&_organs_2006, both expertly mixed. The energy is amazing, not to mention his taste in artists! I think primate^king is extremely thorough in putting out his finished product, all tidied up with cd covers, track listings and informational files.

Some other cd’s to give note to are, 2005 - _primate king - the matt.tress mix_2005, primate king - common vs. killah priest 10.6_2005 and primate king - everlasting sand castles, all of which you can obtain from me or primate^king himself, as he gives downloading priority to his efforts.
So give a listen, you’ll truly enjoy anything/all of what he’s got, no doubt!

4 Peaple Showed Us Love:
Well I must say, this is well done, I think you were right in giving primate a spotlight here, he's very unique in his work and does chose the songs to work with carefully (like I do with mine!), its a sign of someone that really loves what they do. And it comes through in alot of his work.
I too exspect more from him in the future.
this site is kinda shitty, and so is this music. i wanted honest reviews. maybe we just have different tastes, but it seems like you just gave us a bio of him. like you propped up a soulseek buddy and said only nice things.
sorry if im too rude, but for real have some balls when you 'review an album'.
sorry you don't like this site,,however, you have choices, if you get my drift. Primate King is a soulseek buddy, and his music making, in my opinion, is very well done. My guess is, you're a soulseek loser, with nothing better to do than disrupt peoples attempt at making artists known. The reason I reviewed Primate King in the first place, is because a large of people have made comments on how wonderful his mixes are. Again, sorry you feel the need to suck on soulseek, and then come here and suck too. Good Day
Well I do agree that people are allowed their choices and such, but I have to say, not leaving your name is abit of not cool. I mean if you have something to say, use your name and say it. Now I'm open to believe that you aren't someone that knows Sherry, but given that you seem to have only zeroed in on her review, it sort of states otherwise.
She went over this review with me and with PK himself, both thought it was well done, its very hard to review a DJ, its not like other music, so you can't really judge it as such. Just my personal idea anyway.
And also, I fail to see how we're "shitty" simply because you don't like what we put up. We aren't here for just once person, we're here to try and find some good unknown / under rated / unsigned artists of all genres. So if being open minded musically is "shitty" then I guess we are, otherwise, well, politely be quiet because really, one out of all the reviews we have up, isn't something to judge us on.
